Multi-Channel Alarm System
Our multi-channel universal alarm panel is available in 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 channel models.
Features:
- Full ring back capability, assuring that no alarm will be overlooked even with disabled audio.
- Both visual and audio notification of abnormal conditions.
- Audio signal sounds until the test/mute switch is closed.
- Visual notification remains lit until abnormal condition returns to normal.
- Fully automatic so you never need to reset or restore the alarm.
The system will go into an alarm state whenever one of the channels "sees" a path to ground (DC negative). This path can be created by any type of normally open switch which is calibrated to close when an abnormal condition is found. Virtually any condition that can close a contact creating a path to ground can be alarmed by this system.
The test/mute function provides a test function for the system. When the test/mute switch is closed, each visual alarm indicator lights and the audio alarm sounds until the switch is released. This assures that the system is working properly but does not test the sensors or the conductors connecting the sensors to the system.
